Golden State Medical, Inc. strives to make a positive difference in the lives of patients. We achieve this through active participation with all of the healthcare providers involved in the care of our patients (Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, and Hospitals). We provide the highest quality products available for Rehabilitation Equipment, Orthotics and Prosthetics. We deliver, set-up and educate patients in their home or medical facility. Golden State Medical, Inc. will pre-authorize insurance benefits and complete all paperwork necessary for third party billing, including Worker’s Compensation, Private Insurance, Medicare and Medi-Cal. It is our belief that through this personal communication the patient is best served and will achieve the optimum results from their medical equipment.


Golden State Medical, Inc. was founded in 1991 to provide Pain Management Modalities (TENS) and Orthopedic, Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Equipment for patient home use. Golden State Medical, Inc.’s product offerings include but are not limited to TENS Units, Electrodes, Muscle Stimulators, Traction, and Bracing. In October of 2004, Golden State Medical, Inc. acquired Tenspede Medical, a San Francisco Bay Area company based in Pleasanton, CA. Tenspede Medical is a company that provides the same products and services as Golden State Medical, Inc. With the acquisition of Tenspede Medical, we were able to grow our operation, making our products and services available in an expanded geographic area.

In 2005, we relocated Tenspede Medical to Auburn, CA. Also in 2005, Golden State Medical, Inc. opened its first Orthotic and Prosthetic office in Sacramento, CA. under the name Anchor Orthotics and Prosthetics. We have Certified Orthotists and Prosthetists on staff for all orthotic and prosthetic needs.

Golden State Medical, Inc. has based our success on the knowledge of the products we supply, providing the highest quality equipment and prompt service to our clients. Golden State Medical Inc.’s current sales professionals service all of California, from San Diego to the Oregon border, and Northern Nevada. Our company offers free delivery and set up of equipment in the patient’s home or medical facility. We educate our patients in the use of their equipment, as well as training health care professionals through periodic in-service presentations of new or improved modalities. Personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist our clients. Golden State Medical, Inc. is committed to serving patients, doctors, therapists and insurance companies with a combination of the best service and the best equipment available. Golden State Medical, Inc., along with Tenspede Medical and Anchor O&P are all accredited by The Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC) and are licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health Food and Drug Branch.
